Mission for Technology
The
technology mission of Spalding University College of Education is to prepare
graduates to make contributions in a technological society by incorporating
technology into every aspect of the educational process in order to ensure
life-long learning by
- Providing the technology tools necessary to implement
the technology mission and goals of the College of Education
- Providing electronic access to local and
global information sources for faculty, students and staff
- Providing the comprehensive training and
support to enable faculty and students to meet the mandates of the
Kentucky Standards, as well as NCATE and other national and international
standards
- Supporting the complete integration of
technology into the teaching/learning environment
- Fostering creativity and competence that will
promote self-esteem and diversity
- Encouraging and expanding communications
through a strong learning community
- Ensuring accessibility and commitment to deal
with current and future needs
